Patellofemoral Online Education released

Posted by on in News

At the March 2010 American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons meeting in New Orleans, Dr Fulkerson hosted a luncheon for the board of directors, corporate benefactors, and the ISAKOS travelling fellows at Mr B's Bistro on Royal Street. The newly released Patellofemoral Online Education was highlighted as the fellows met to discuss their April journey to patellofemoral centers in USA, France and England. At the luncheon, Elizabeth Arendt, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Minnesota joined other individual benefactors with a major contribution to the Patellofemoral Foundation.

The Patellofemoral Foundation's Patellofemoral Education Website is now online. It was built in conjunction with the Yale Library under the leadership of Peter Jokl MD, Professor of Orthopedic Sugery at Yale and Editor in Chief of the website, and John Gallagher at the Yale Medical Library.

The Patellofemoral Foundation gratefully thanks all those who have supported the Foundation's efforts over this past year, and extends special thanks to the Ronald Grelsamer Family (in memory of Ron's father Philippe); Smith and Nephew Endoscopy; Kinamed; Hartman Newspapers; The Alfred Trillat Fund courtesy of Philippe Neyret and associates (Lyon, France); and DJ Ortho for their exceptional support in 2009.
