The following study received the 2015 Patellofemoral Research Excellence Award of ISAKOS and the Patellofemoral Foundation at the Biennial ISAKOS Congress in Lyon, France: "Femoral antetorsion is related to the morphology of the femoral trochlea"

Liebensteiner M, Ressler J, Seitlinger G, Djurdjevic T, El-Attal R, Ferlic P

Dr. Liebensteiner and his team concluded that the morphology of the trochlea is significantly related to femoral antetorsion. Increased antetorsion is associated with a flatter, more dysplastic trochlea.

The Patellofemoral Foundation is very proud to announce the 2015-17 PFF/ISAKOS Patellofemoral Traveling fellows. Dr. Munch is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center, and Dr. Paschos is Fellow in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Biomedical Engineering, University of California, Davis, USA.
