Dr. Fulkerson has authored many scientific articles, chapters and books on patellofemoral pain. He has served on or is serving on the Board of Directors of Orthopaedic Associates of Hartford, PC; the Arthroscopy Association of North America; the Greater Hartford Orthopaedic Education and Research Foundation; the Litchfield Land Trust and the journal Arthroscopy. He has been team doctor for U.S. Olympic Ice Hockey, the NHL Hartford Whalers, and the AHL Hartford Wolfpack and is Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Yale University.
