Dr. Daniel Green is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr Green is a Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, the Fellowship Director of the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Associate Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Training Program at HSS. Dr. Green has practiced at Hospital for Special Surgery since 1998. His practice interest is the pediatric knee, with over 80% of his surgical practice focused on knee surgery in the child and adolescent age group. He is currently director and founding member of the HSS Pediatric Division’s Sports Program at HSS and is an author of over 100 articles and a dozen book chapters on conditions of the knee. He also provides medical coverage for the USA National Volleyball Team. Dr Green is active in a number of medical societies. He has served as president and board member of the New York County Medical Society. He is a graduate of the AAOS leadership fellows program, and was a six year member of the AAOS’s Board of Councilors. He is currently Board Member and Treasurer elect of PRiSM (Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine.)
