Johannes Sieberer and Others Recognized at 15th Biennial ISAKOS Congress

At the 15th Biennial ISAKOS Congress in Munich, Germany, the global orthopaedic community gathered for four days of dynamic learning, exchange, and innovation. With more than 2,300 abstract submissions, the Congress showcased the very best in clinical and laboratory research, offering a powerful platform for advancing the fields of arthroscopy, knee surgery, and sports medicine. The meeting featured expert lectures, surgical demonstrations, case-based debates, and interactive sessions, making it one of the most anticipated events in the orthopaedic calendar. Patellofemoral Foundation Traveling Fellows Liz Dennis and Truls Straume-Naeshim were also in attendance.

One of the highlights of this year’s Congress was the presentation of the ISAKOS PFF Research Excellence Award, sponsored by the Patellofemoral Foundation. The award was given to Dr. Johannes Sieberer by ISAKOS President João Espregueira-Mendes, in recognition of outstanding research that contributes meaningfully to the understanding and treatment of patellofemoral disorders. The Foundation is proud to support this honor, which aligns with its mission to advance education, innovation, and clinical excellence in patellofemoral care.

We congratulate Dr. Sieberer on this well-deserved recognition and applaud all those who continue to push the field forward through rigorous, impactful research.
